Hi! I'm a student working on a project to learn how to use Shopify and build an e-commerce website.

Why Hiking Socks?

I needed to pick a product for this assignment, and as someone who enjoys hiking, I thought premium hiking socks would be interesting to research. The idea of combining outdoor gear with luxury materials seemed like a good concept to explore.

What This Project Is

This is my attempt at:

• Learning Shopify's platform
• Building a website from scratch
• Understanding e-commerce basics
• Practicing product descriptions and pricing
• Figuring out how online stores work

About the Products

The socks and descriptions are all conceptual - I researched real outdoor gear to make them realistic, but this is just for learning purposes.

That's It

This has been a good way to understand how online businesses work. There's definitely more to e-commerce than I initially thought.
